Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
